We get questions from time to time about where we source our materials and we wanted to share more about some of the resources we use in our small business. Since we’re all about supporting one another, it’s only fitting that we pass along some of the tips we’ve learned along the way. So, with out further ado:
If you aren’t able to make your own photopolymer plates, Boxcar is pretty unbeatable. Their turnaround time is exceptional and the quality is fantastic. While it’s cheaper to buy your plate material in bulk, in our opinion, having Boxcar make your plates for you — it’s worth it!
This company has been around since 1872! They’ve got both oil and rubber based ink and they’ll even custom mix Pantone colors.
Astro offers a huge range of paper selections and their amazing customer service is unrivaled.
For a more user friendly site with straightforward ordering.
For packaging this has been our go-to company. There are so many box/tissue options and the prices are affordable for a small business.
When it comes to getting started, overwhelming probably doesn’t even begin to describe the myriad of options out there for printing, paper and shipping supplies. We hope that these suggestions will help in whittling down that to-do list!
Happy shopping,
Mistie & Molly
